M4V Player Description
M4V Player is a small tool, capable of playing M4V media files.
The program's user interface is extremely minimalistic. So, both rookies and power users can easily get around M4V Player.
If you move the mouse cursor to the upper margin of the window, you can view the commands you can use in M4V Player - open, play, stop, switch ratio, adjust volume, but you can also select to display all the controls.
On the other hand, if you move the mouse cursor to the left side of the screen, a window pops up, showing the current playlist. You can open a list, save a list, show results, add or remove a file from the playlist, or search for a particular file. When you search for a movie file, an additional window appears where you can view results.
The moment an AMR file starts playing, the color scheme changes to basic settings (in Windows 7). Sometimes, the image is not shown although the audio track is working, so you have to load the file several times. Furthermore, the other Windows applications start acting in a strange way (from the point of view of the color scheme) when M4V Player is playing a file. Plus, the text is not properly displayed in the application, every now and then.
Overall, M4V Player uses a low amount of system resources, and it doesn't come with a help file (it doesn't need one, anyway). Besides the fact that it lacks any kind of intermediate or advanced functions, and that it needs to fix its bugs, M4V Player is very simple to use by anyone.
