It is equipped with powerful features for object feature identification, cell classification, particle counting, object recognition and surface and material characterization. Operations include general purpose image analysis functions such as threshold, invert, and histogram processing; it has advanced routines such as edge detection, image calculations, morphological operations, and frequency domain processing and object detection.
