MandolinChordsLite is a simple to use software designed for those who wish to learn how to play the mandolin guitar on their own. The software is created for both beginners and advanced guitar players as well, since it offers several possibilities for learning, practicing and composing music especially for the mandolin.

Comprehensive learning tool

MandolinChordsLite is suitable for beginner musicians or any other user who wishes to learn how to play the mandolin guitar. The software allows you to learn musical theory by displaying the mandolin chords on individual buttons, at the top of the main window. Clicking either of the chords prompts the software to play the correspondent genuine mandolin sound.
Moreover, once you click a certain chord, not only can you hear it rendered on the mandolin, but you may also view it as pressure points on the fingerboard and in TAB representation. The software also features images of the correct position of the hand on the fretboard, for each chord you select. You may practice with major chords, simple, sharp or flat.

Music composer and practice environment

You may easily practice with individual chords, but you may also create a sequence of mandolin sounds by adding the desired chords to the Favorites collection. The sound sequence is displayed in the ribbon at the bottom of the window, where you may view the chords, transpose them to other tonalities or alter their order.
MandolinChordsLite allows you to save several collections as projects, then load them again later, in order to practice with them. You may add difficult chords or chord sequences that you wish to practice or use this function in order to compose songs.

Additionally, each graphic representation of a chord can be exported to other documents, by dragging and dropping. You may thus create your own musical course, with theory on the mandolin chords.
