Match Up Extra

Match Up Extra is an easy to use utility aimed at parents and educators who wish to enhance their kids' knowledge and intelligence, through fun games.
The program is quite simple to work with, while the interface it features is visibly designed for children, in the hope of making it appealing and entertaining for them. However, because it does not use images, children who play with Match Up Extra need to know how to read or have an adult who can do that for them.
Match Up Extra comes with with several built-in matching games, mainly 'Synonyms' and 'Antonyms', but also 'Computer Parts' and 'Vegetables'. After selecting the preferred option, it will automatically display a list of items in column A, which have to be matched with the words appearing in the lower part of the screen.
In order to match an item with its corresponding element from column B, users need to click in the appropriate field, next to the item in column A and if it is correct, it will remain there. After finishing the game, Match Up Extra will tell users their score on a diploma, allowing them to save it to their computer or print it.
Moreover, the application also enables users to create their own matching games, by clicking on 'Create / Edit Games'. They can give it a title and press the 'Add New Game' button. Users can enter the items in column A and B that correspond to each other, then save it, so the next time users want to play, they will be able to pick it from the drop-down menu.
In conclusion, Match Up Extra is a useful and reliable piece of software developed as a teaching-aid, enabling kids to find learning activities fun, thus stimulating them to develop their capabilities to the fullest.
