MEC

The MEC application was developed to be a small crypting / decrypting tool for any kind of file (.doc, .exe, .jpg and so on).
It uses my own (i hope so) crypting / decrypting routine, so i can´t say anything about safety of the crypted files for now. But it makes files unreadable / unexecutable – and that´s the point .
I wrote this ´cause all other progs where complicated or to big or needed to be installed. My version of a crypting/decrypting software can be placed everywhere (cause it´s small).
It´s very easy to crypt a file:
a) Just select a file or multiple files (holding down the SHIFT key) you want to crypt (Load sourcefile button)
b) If multiple files are selected the destination files will look like this :
“destinationname_ORIGINAL NAME_MEC”
The crypted files will be written to the selected destination folder/device.
c) select a destination (choose destination button)
d) hit code file button
After crypting the file you receive a decodekey. This key is needed to decrypt the crypted file (if you want to). If it´s lost, there´s no chance to decrypt the file.
How to decryption a file:
The decryption is as easy as the cryption of a file.
a) Select a crypted file (load sourcefile button)
b) select destination (choose destination button)
c) enter the decryptkey in the white field above the progressbar
d) press decode file button
