MediaJoin

MediaJoin is a simple-to-use program designed to help you merge audio tracks and video clips. It supports several file types, namely MP3, WAV, MPG and MPEG. But the tool can also join plain text documents (TXT).
The interface of the application is based on a standard window. Importing items into the file list can be done with the help of the file browser only, since the 'drag and drop' method is not supported.
The file queue displays the source path of each item. So, all you have to do is establish the output directory and filename, in order to proceed with the merging procedure. Additionally, MediaJoin allows you to clear the file queue.
The video processing program runs on a low amount of CPU and system memory, has a good response time and quickly finishes a task without causing the operating system to freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs. MediaJoin manages to preserve the original quality regarding images, sounds and the text layout.
Unfortunately, the tool can only process files that have the same format. For instance, MediaJoin cannot merge an MP3 and a WAV track. Furthermore, the app comes with limited features; you cannot minimize it to the system tray or make it open the output directory when the task is done. Nevertheless, we must keep in mind the fact that MediaJoin has not been updated for a while.
