All of your favorite movies, clips and songs are now a few mouse clicks away, thanks to the capabilities of the information superhighway, commonly known as the Internet. With a simple web browser you're free to enjoy any bit of multimedia. However, various applications like MEGABUSTER want to make the whole experience more comfortable, while bringing it to your desktop.

Compact and intuitive interface

There no need to go through a setup process, the application being ready as soon as the download is finished. This also means you can store in on a USB Flash drive to use on the go. A consequence is that registries are not modified, thus not affecting the integrity of your system.
All features are stored in a compact window which, unfortunately, can't be resized. This provides limited view space and it's only a shame, considering the application aims to deliver a comfortable way to enjoy videos. Built-in sources are stored in tabs, with entries like YouTube and Dizzler Media.

Outdated sources and poor features

In fact, the two are the only multimedia platforms at your disposal, from which only one functions because Dizzler has long ceased to exist. What's more, the YouTube counterpart aims to take you to an outdated version, namely YouTube XL. Eventually, you end up in either on a no longer existing page or forced to redirect because of major updates, which is the case with YouTube XL.
This has a great impact on practicality, questioning it almost entirely. What saves the day is the method used to get you online. In other words, every tab is a custom built web browser set on specific websites. As such, you are able to access any web page, even YouTube by following the redirection links from the homonimous tab, with options to log into your Google account for a full experience. Sadly, it too stands shattered by the lack of any navigation buttons or URL input field.

A few last words

All in all, MEGABUSTER comes with good intentions, but doesn't bring anything new on the market, nor can it do more than your web browser. It uses moderate to high amounts of system resources, which doesn't pay for what it has to offer, especially because you need to go through a lot of effort to end up on only one of the recommended multimedia services.
