Mehul's Backup

The Mehuls Backup application was designed to backup or synchronize your critical data to another drive. Works great if you own a Zip or Jaz drive, or even if you want to backup to another physical drive. It provides a user friendly GUI (Graphical User Interface) for backing up your data.
Here are some key features of "Mehul s Backup":
ï¿­ Backup Files and/or directories recursively to another drive (great for Zip, Jaz, and other removable drives).
ï¿­ Specify individual files to backup.
ï¿­ Specify Directories and/or file extensions NOT to backup.
ï¿­ Support for long filenames.
ï¿­ You can backup or "Sync" the files. Sync (synchronize) lets you keep the backup files in sync with the source. i.e. If files and/or directories are deleted from the original location, the backup copies will also be deleted on the next sync.
ï¿­ Backup/Sync manually or setup a timely automated backup specified in minutes.
ï¿­ Easy access to the program via the system tray. An icon is placed in the system tray that shows the status of the program (Waiting for timed backup, stopped, backing up etc.)
ï¿­ When "hidden", the program is not displayed in the taskbar freeing up valuable space.
ï¿­ Creates a well organized hierarchy backup in the target location.
ï¿­ Logs all backup operations to a file and a log viewer in the program.
ï¿­ Specify other options including:
ï¿­ Backup files on startup.
ï¿­ Backup files on exit.
ï¿­ Backup Configuration files so you dont have to recreate the backup list when you restore the system.
ï¿­ Prompt when backing up to a removable media.
