Melody Player

Melody Player is a software tool that was developed in order to help people listen to audio tracks such as MID, MOR or S3M, as well as songs created with Melody Assistant.
The installation process does not offer to add other programs, and upon wrapping it up, you are brought to a clean and simple interface. It enables all user categories to find their way around it, without facing any type of difficulty.
Music files can only be uploaded to the program with the built-in file browser, as the “drag and drop” function is not incorporated. All added items are displayed in the main window with their total duration and name, as well as their score (if any).
It is also possible to save playlists to the hard drive, and repeat one or all songs, as well as listen to them randomly. You can zoom in and out of scores with the mousewheel, control the volume, use some playback control buttons (play, pause, next, previous and stop), transpose an audio track up or down, activate a metronome and adjust the tempo.
From the settings panel you can change the channels, song quality and bit rate, as well as select another language, and input a delay between each tunes (expressed in seconds). You can also access a mixer, rotate the score and display music information in another window.
All in all, Melody Player is a useful piece of software for listening to a few types of audio formats. It has a good response time, it does not burden the computer’s performance and it presents a user-friendly environment.
