Merge PDF

Merge PDF is a modern application you can use to combine multiple PDF documents into a single one, whether they contain one or more pages. It supports security features and comes in handy when you want to reconstruct PDF files that were previously trimmed into multiple parts.

Elegant interface with intuitive options

The installer is fast and shouldn't give you any difficulty. As for the interface, Merge PDF opts for a large window with a clean and elegant appearance, where PDF files can be dropped on the task list to view their thumbnails. Any file can be expanded to view all containing pages and make sure you're not accidentally processing data you're not interested in.

Filter PDF pages and apply password protection

It's possible to merge the pages of all PDFs, or set the number of pages or page range to extract when it comes to each document. This is where the thumbnail expanding feature is practical, in addition to the zooming option (by moving a slider on the top part of the window).
Entries can be removed from the list or just deselected to exclude them from the operation. Before starting the task, you can verify a list with the name of each file. Unfortunately, there is no option implemented for changing the merging order, not even through drag-and-drop functionality.
Apart from entering the name and specifying the saving directory for the output file, it's possible to leave the document unprotected or to assign a password and manage permissions to allow or forbid viewing, copying, printing, annotations, or form filling.

Merge PDF performed joining operations rapidly in our tests while using low CPU and RAM. It delivered quality PDF documents and remained stable throughout its runtime.
Although its set of features is not that generous, the program offers an optimal solution for combining PDF files or extracted pages into a single document with optional password protection.
