Metabook is a lightweight Windows application whose purpose is to help you organize text data into different topics and link certain details to the files on your computer. A tree structure with nodes, topics and details can be generated for arranging your data.

Define a new profile

Metabook offers you the possibility to define a new project by simply entering a name. The tool stores all your projects in a drop-down list so you can easily switch between them.

Design the structure of your project

The program allows you to create multiple nodes with custom names and generate topics inside nodes. Topics can be used for adding detailed information, as you may write the text directly in the main window or paste it from the clipboard.
What’s more, you are allowed to activate the bold, underline or italic mode and link external files to the project by simply dragging and dropping them in the main window. Last but not least, you can export data to HTML file format, delete the information, and move one profile from a folder to another one.
