Mgosoft PS Converter SDK Description
Mgosoft PS Converter SDK is a product aimed at software developers who wish to enhance their applications by enabling them to convert PostScript files to various other popular formats, thus making them easier to view and share.
This development kit is intended to be used by developers, as the included components need to be integrated into existing applications.
PostScript files can be converted to a number of document and image formats, such as PDF, TXT, TIFF, PNG, JPEG, BMP, GIF, WMF, EMF, TGA and PCX. The layout and formatting of the original PS file, including objects like images, lines and text, are kept intact.
Mgosoft PS Converter SDK enables users to generate multipage TIFF files, and multiple compression algorithms are supported, such as PACKBITS, LZW, RunLength and JPEG.
Additionally, it is possible to encrypt output PDF files, insert document metadata and add watermarks, as well as apply usage restrictions to prevent users from printing, modifying or copying content.
Deployment instructions can be found in the documentation included in the downloadable package, and several sample applications are also included. These have been created using programming languages such as C#, C++, Visual Basic and Visual Basic .NET, and they are intended to allow users to test the component’s capabilities.
