In case a device is disconnected from the system, Microsoft Xbox 360 Accessories replaces the green quadrant with a red one. Optionally, you can set it to ignore such event and disable notifications in case of losing a connection.
Each time the Microsoft Xbox 360 Accessories window is opened, it is set to automatically fade out after 15 seconds, but you can also close it manually.
