MIDSPLIT is a simple command line tool designed to split a midi file track at a given note into two tracks (left hand, right hand).
Here are some key features of "MIDSPLIT":
ï¿ reads a binary midi file of format 1
ï¿ writes a binary midi file of format 1
ï¿ copies all tracks that do not match the given track/channel number
ï¿ splits note events into two tracks (left, right) at given split point (note)
ï¿ optionally assigns new channels to left and right track
ï¿ duplicates midi parameters for left and right channel
