Mock SMTP Server Description

The Mock SMTP Server application was developed to be a simple email server that really does nothing. Well, it does display each email message it receives in the application window, but thats it.
This server/application is written to test applications that send email. The only configuration you may need to make is to allow the Mock SMTP Server access through your firewall program. This program will not store or relay email. Only the minimum requirements of RFC 5321 are implemented.
To configure the application under test, set the email server IP address to 127.0.0.1 and the port to 25. Make sure to have the Mock SMTP Server running before you start testing.System requirementsNET Framework
