Momento Express

Slideshows, especially when they contain your favorite pictures, can be beautiful. Momento Express enables you to put together advanced slideshows that can be saved as video files.
The software comes with a nice interface, basically a step-by-step wizard that guides you through the entire process.
The app has various preset project styles, each complete with certain settings, such as a background photo and the number of seconds elapsed between two slides. Most projects also have a widescreen format to better fit on the screen, if you need it.
You can add numerous files, either by browsing the directories or through the drag and drop function. Also, you can import files from your cameras or memory cards.
Each individual photograph can be adjusted. For example, you can set a hotspot to customize the image motion, enhance and edit the image itself (adjust brightness, contrast and color balance and reduce the red-eye effect). Additionally, effects can be included, such as confetti, soft glow, aging, blurring, rain, clouds, fog, snow or snowflakes. Various text messages can also be added.
A voice-over message can be recorded to go together with the slideshow. Also, you can use the SmartStyle Audio, a function that automatically generates a soundtrack for the entire video, based on the style of the project you chose.
Alternatively, you can add a custom track to the slideshow. The software supports various file formats, such as WAV, MP3, WMA, WMV, M4A, OGG, AVI, MPG, MPEG, ASF and MP2.
The entire slideshow can be previewed before saving it. Files can be exported in the WMV format.
All in all, Momento Express is a useful program that’s extremely easy to work with. Inexperienced users should have no problems finding out all that the software has to offer.
