MouseAround is a lightweight desktop enhancement utility whose purpose is to help you apply various mouse cursor trailers on your screen.

Unobtrusive running mode

The tool runs quietly in the system tray without interfering with your work, and lets you open the settings panel with a simple right-click operation on the app’s icon from the system tray.

Simple configuration settings

When run for the first time, the program asks to set up the dedicated parameters related to the mouse effects.
The program gives you the possibility to use mouse cursor themes or disable this particular option, as well as choose the desired area of the screen where the special effects are displayed, namely the entire desktop, behind your active window, or behind all your programs’ window. Plus, you may select the color scheme for each mouse effect.
What’s more, you can choose between a wide range of mouse effects, such as Fairy Godmother, Disco, Cupid Cursor, Champagne Bubble, Scrambled Desktop, Rocket Engine, Magician, and many others.
You are allowed to make the utility run at Windows startup and run it in the disabled mode, alter the animation speed limit, and create an exclusion lists with programs that are ignored.
Additionally, you may enable or disable the program’s functions with just one click. During our testing we have noticed that MouseAround carries out a task pretty quickly and remains light on system resources.
