Moviemaker for P800/P900

Changing the format of video files so they can be played on specific devices is a task that requires some dedicated utilities and there are countless converters that were devised specifically for such purposes.
Moviemaker for P800/P900 is an example of a program that is meant to create output for only a few types of devices, more precisely two models of smartphones built by Sony Ericsson. Through a simple interface the operation is carried out in a matter of moments and the output is suitable for the above mentioned mobiles.
There are no complex configurations that have to be carried out and the application will require no more than 2 clicks to get the job done. First of all the user has to pick the target movie file and then press the Action button to trigger the conversion.
The transformation occurs automatically and the output is an MP4 video which is ready to be transferred and played onto the supported device. Insofar as the input formats are concerned, Moviemaker for P800/P900 should be able to handle pretty much all AVI, MPEG, QuickTime and DV formats.
The main advantage offered by this software resides in the reduced size on disk of the resulting video file, so it is much more easy to carry several clips in the phones memory instead of a single, large movie.
In case the user wants to use Moviemaker for P800/P900 to grab and convert the video stream from protected DVDs, this will not be possible.
