MP3 Joiner

MP3 Joiner is a program with a name that perfectly describes its purpose - it allows you to merge audio tracks with the MP3 format. The tool can be seamlessly handled, even by inexperienced users.
The interface of the tool is based on a standard window where you can import items into the list by using either the file browser or 'drag and drop' method.
The file queue displays the name of each item. Once you establish the output directory and filename, you can proceed with the merging procedure.
In addition, you can move entries up and down in the list, preview results, as well as remove an item from the file queue or clear the entire thing.
The straightforward audio processing program runs on a low-to-moderate amount of CPU and system memory, has a good response time, finishes a task briefly and manages to preserve the original sound quality. We have not come across any difficulties during our evaluation; MP3 Joiner did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs.
On the downside, MP3 Joiner comes with limited features. For example, you cannot configure audio settings (e.g. channel mode, sample rate, volume level, bit rate) or make the app open the output directory or file after the task is done. No recent updates have been made.
