Mr Fix Registry Cleaner

As the name of this program implies, Mr Fix Registry Cleaner is designed to help you clean invalid entries in your Windows registry, in order to improve the performance of your system.
The tool comes with a plain and simple interface. So, you can scan various area of the registry. These include application paths, shared DLL files, font and driver locations, ActiveX class issues, along with startup and help files locations.
Once the scanning process is completed, you can check out the type and description of each problem. Simply select which areas you want to repair and let Mr Fix Registry Cleaner take care of the rest. You can select or deselect all items, as well as open an entry in Registry Editor.
Before cleaning the registry, the tool offers to create a backup. This option is recommended in case your operating system starts having issues after the cleaning task. These backups can be restored at any time.
Mr Fix Registry Cleaner comes with three additional features - "My Tools", "My Cleaner" and "My Tweaks". The first one allows you to remove installed apps from the system, manage programs which automatically run at system startup and to delete Start menu items.
"My Cleaner" can help you get rid of junk files found in the system and various applications (e.g. user temp files, Search and Run history, Recycle Bin, Internet Explorer and Firefox cache). In the "My Tweaks" section, you can hide programs and the shutdown command in the Start menu, increase the system shutdown speed and disable USB drives, among others.
The simple-to-use program requires a moderate amount of system resources and quickly finishes a scan and clean job. We haven't come across any error dialogs during our testing. On the other hand, Mr Fix Registry Cleaner doesn't offer the feature to optimize the Windows registry. Plus, the tool cannot be set to run at system startup and you cannot schedule a task. There is no help file available and the interface needs some improvements. No recent updates have been made.
