MSI PC Alert

MSI PC Alert is a real-time hardware monitoring application especially designed for computers with an integrated MSI motherboard. It aims to help you keep an eye on the system components, in order to ensure system stability and prevent hardware damage.
The main interface only includes a single window, comprising information concerning the functioning parameters of your PC. The application constantly monitors the computer and displays information at a glance concerning the evolution of the CPU and the overall system temperature, the load voltage and the speed of the fans.
Every four seconds, the data is updated and the program shows the new values of the temperature, the voltage and the rotation of the CPU fan and the system cooler within its main window.
The application can monitor these parameters, but this is not its only function. Above each graph you can find a bar that allows you to set the minimum and the maximum threshold for each monitored parameter.
As long as the monitored value stays between the set thresholds, you can consider that your PC is functioning correctly. On the other hand, in case these user-defined limits are exceeded, you might risk having your hardware components damaged or even fried due to high temperatures. MSI PC Alert is designed to prevent these situations and therefore, notifies you when the levels are dangerously high, so that you can take action in due time.
In order to optimize the overall system performance, it is advisable to close the application while playing multimedia content or 3D games.
MSI PC Alert comes in handy for viewing the processor’s temperature, the system voltage and the fan rotation speed in real time and avoid possible hardware failure. However, it only works with MSI motherboards and there are other similar applications out there that provide support for multiple system configurations.
