MusicVault is a easy-to-use tool that will help you search for duplicates, rename and sort MP3 files.
MusicVault is designed to work with a large number of MP3-files, and it is both memoryefficient and very fast.
MusicVault creates databases (called Vaults) of your entire CD-collection of MP3-files. It also creates a vault of your harddrive files, to easy let you browse music by artist, album, title or any other way you find convinient.
Within a music "Vault" you are able to create unlimited numbers of lists, called "Categories". Such examples of categories are "The new years party 2002", "My slow music", "My party music", "70s" etc... Each such category is a subset of the entire vault. This makes it easy to access the songs you need for a special occasion.
MusicVault also contains one of the most powerful Multi-tag editors on the Internet today. Just select as many songs as you want and edit all the tag fields at the same time.
Note: This a freeware but you can buy the registered version of MusicVault to get access to extra features such as generation of song list in HTML, spreadsheet and plain text files, printing or support for ID3v2-Tags.
