Sleek and clean user interface

The application sports a really colorful and neat graphical interface, with the font in a special style and size. However, the font style, type and size is adjustable and it even lets you add effects like underline or strikeout.
You can adjust the writing system and see a preview of your font settings. Font color can also be changed, simply pick from a multitude of options available in the palette.

Create an account

The first thing that you need to do after launching the application is to create your own account. It allows you to set a username and password to restrict access to it. My Best Friend - Dearest Diary lets you create as many accounts as you wish, so that others can use the application without seeing your documents.
It displays the current date and time, you can check the calendar and change the date if you want. It comes with a search bar for finding and replacing words easily inside your diary entries.

It has some tools that allow you to view the last entry that you've made and all documents can be edited easily.
Unfortunately, it doesn't come with the option to export diary entries to another application or even print them. It would have been nice if it had a tool for automatically locking access to the program after a few minutes of inactivity.
All in all, My Best Friend - Dearest Diary is a simple but useful application for keeping a diary, it comes with some text formatting tools but no option to change the color or skin of the interface.
