My Clippings is a little tool created to offer you a fast and simple way in which you can view and export created notes and highlights, thus enabling you to share them with friends.

User-friendly interface

Creating a note using a Kindle device is something you do in a few ‘clicks’ and My Clippings allows you to open and save them on your computer just as fast. From the main window of the application you are able to view the notes and highlights along with details about the author and book they belong to.
Highlights are displayed with the entire paragraph so you can keep track of context. The information contained in the selections can be copied just like any other text and then inserted into a document or sent via email or IM. It’s basically a three step process with which you can share any of your favorite quotes or research material.

Automatically detects your Kindle device

Since My Clippings provides such a simple way in which you deal with notes and highlights, its only fair that it also makes PC-device connectivity equally hard. By default, the application is set to recognize the eReader but if that doesn't seem to be the case, when you connected via USB, there is an ‘Automatically Detect Kindle’ option which you can toggle.
Additionally, the source file in which the device stores the highlights and notes can be loaded manually.
