My DVD Catalog Description

My DVD Catalog is a simple-to-use program whose sole purpose is to organize your DVD movie collection in a user-friendly environment. It is oriented toward all individuals, regardless of their skill level.
The interface of the application is made from a standard window with a plain layout. A few fields must be typed in when adding a new DVD to the list, such as the title, genre, user review, DVD release and movie year, running time, studio and director.
But you can also write the region, rating, case type, current location, location and date of purchase, along with the cost. You can add as many DVD movies to the catalog as you want.
Furthermore, it is possible to assign covers, set audio and video format settings (e.g. widescreen, ratio, stereo, DTS), specify subtitle languages and choose the TV system type (NTSC or PAL), as well as mark features for the disc extras (e.g. scene access, star bios) and disc format (e.g. dual layer).
Items can be sorted in the list by genre, region or rating. This list can be printed or saved to a plain text document (TXT format) or HTML page for further analysis.
We noticed a minimal consumption of CPU and system memory during My DVD Catalog's runtime. It has a good response time and works fine, without hanging, crashing or popping up error dialogs.
On the other hand, the application comes with limited features and configuration settings. Plus, it needs some improvements in the visual department of the GUI. But we must keep in mind that My DVD Catalog has not been updated for a very long time.
