MyData is a comprehensive and intuitive application designed to be a simple flashcard creator and manager, but can also be used as a basic editor, to store personal drafts.

Set your own database and design your structure

The app doesn't require any prior setup to start, it comes with two separate executables, for 32 and 64-bit systems. Run the one that it's suitable for your computer. Since it's portable, it can be launched on any PC, and doesn't generate new entries in the registry.
It's wrapped in a stylish and user-friendly layout, with a basic toolbar in the upper part of the window, a file tree, and the word editor. To start, set up a new database, by picking the destination path and title. In addition, you may input a custom password, to secure the data from unwanted people. Multiple databases are supported.

Enter photos, bullet lists and pick the desired fonts

You can import existing documents from the computer, in RTF format, and alter them further. A main node is required, in order to start the tree structure. It's possible to add as many card children as you want.  Unfortunately, you can't select a custom icon for each category, since there is no such option.
There aren't too many functions you can pick from, coming only with the basic edit elements (cut, copy, paste, delete), and the formatting ones. You can change the font type, text and background colors, style, and size, as well as enter bullet and number lists, suitable for definitions. Plus, the app lets you insert images, by dragging and dropping them into the panel, and resize them to properly fit with the content.

Taking everything into consideration, MyData is a useful and approachable program that comes in handy when you want to create and organize flashcards for school or various projects and customize them with pictures and lists. It also comes with a password protection feature.
