myPod comes in handy for all iPod owners who want to easily manage their music collection, generate playlists and perform synchronizations between the iPod and their computer.
Developed using the Java programming language, this lightweight application is compatible with all the major platforms. It provides you with an intuitive tool that helps you easily manage content stored on your iPod.
The application can detect the presence of an iPod connected to your computer, enabling you to scan the corresponding drive for media files. It displays all the files in an organized manner, alongside details such as the song title, the album, the bitrate, creation year, the music genre, language and so on. Moreover, you can change the view mode and sort entries by various criteria.
Playlists can be renamed or deleted and new playlists can be easily created. You can then perform synchronizations between the iPod and the computer with just a click, using the designated option in the right-click context menu.
myPod can connect to a music player installed on your system and send it the iPod playlist, enabling you to listen to music stored on the portable device.
You can also use it to permanently erase the content of your iPod, scan the device for missing media files and reallocate them, remove empty folders, as well as change the directory structure of the iPod or change the way files are named.
