NetMeter Sidebar Gadget

NetMeter Sidebar Gadget is a lightweight widget that allows you to keep track of network traffic, directly on your desktop. It can be seamlessly installed and set up.
The interface of the tool is represented by a very small frame that you can move to any position on the screen, with the help of the mouse cursor. It shows the send and received data, amount of transmitted KB/s, along with your IP address.
A few options can be configured from the Settings panel. Therefore, you can select the interface used to determine the IP and speed, as well as establish the update rate interval (in milliseconds), among others.
Thanks to the default options provided by the operating system, you can increase the frame's size, make it stay on top of other windows, as well as set its opacity level to a predefined value, ranging from 20% to 100%.
NetMeter Sidebar Gadget does not interfere with the runtime of other active processes, since it runs on a very low amount of CPU and system memory. No error dialogs have been shown throughout our tests and the app did not hang or crash.
