A default method to start any application or video game on your computer is through the corresponding desktop shortcut. However, developers came up with different applications specially dedicated to help you launch everything a lot easier, and NotAgain places everything in a customizable tray menu.

Can be used on the go

Considering the application wants to make everything easy to launch, flexibility is a main perk. This is proven once again by the lack of an installer, which makes it possible to use the application from a thumb drive, on other computers as well, without worrying about the health status of the target PC.
Just to get you quickly up and running, the application comes with a list of preset locations, such a File Explorer, a couple of drives, or Notepad. Accessing the configuration menu allows you to modify existing shortcuts, or work your way around existing items to add more. Additionally, multiple configuration files can be created, and saved to have different shortcut sets at your disposal.

Configure tray menu and shortcuts

Adding a new shortcut to the list requires little effort. The application works with every shortcut, or executable on your computer. Sadly, it doesn’t work with links, or files requiring specific editors to load. Additional options include a name, window size on launch, and host drive. Moreover, a custom hotkey command can be assigned to any shortcut for an even faster approach.
You need to use the built-in dialog to select a file, because dropping it over the main window has no effect. In case it needs additional launch parameters, these go in a dedicated field. Only one menu can be created, but it can be enhanced with delimiters, or empty entries to simply provide more descriptions, or details on categories.

Taking everything into consideration, we can say that NotAgain is an application which is sure to come in handy for making your desktop a clean space, but still being able to launch all your favorite programs with little effort. Although you’re limited to offline locations, you’re free to create a custom, clean menu.
