NoteItDown is wrapped in a user-friendly interface that permits users to easily add notes and put them together into various groups, thanks to two panes dedicated for each task.
As far as notetaking options are concerned, it is possible to change the font type and size, make text Bold, Italic, Underline or Strikethrough, customize the color, change its alignment, indent and unindent paragraphs, create lists, as well as search and replace text. All formatting attributes can be reset through one click.
What's more, you can insert date and time stamps, ask the tool to wrap words automatically, make the frame stay on top of other windows, create new folders for the notes and move them to other locations, and more.

Evaluation and conclusion

As expected, the tool has a good response time and minimal impact on computer performance, since it consumes a light amount of CPU and RAM. No error dialogs were shown in our tests, and NoteItDown did not hang or crash. Thanks to its intuitive structure and options, it can be used by anyone looking to quickly take notes and manage them into multiple groups.
