Notes is a lightweight, yet reliable tool for users who wish to create quick desktop notes and store them in a local database. The application allows you to create a multitude of notes, that you can maintain on your screen, so you can remember important events. A search bar allows you to immediately find them.

Create desktop notes

Notes allows you to create several notifications that you can keep on the desktop so you are constantly reminded of important aspects. Alternatively, you can simply keep tips, hints or messages, then easily access them. Notes features a minimalistic interface, which consists of the notes themselves and a small search bar.
The search bar is your key to the collection of notes, since it allows you to view the list or quickly create a new one. You can right-click on the bar to prompt the context menu, then select the desired option: create new note or open a different database.

Search engine and jotter tool

Notes also features a jotter function, which prompts a small text editor, similar to those of the notes. It allows you to create quick lists or important messages, however, unlike the notes, it does not save the text, the moment you close it.
The bar works also works as a searching engine: simply enter the keywords in order to find a note in the database. You may type words or character strings contained in the body or title of the note, the application can easily find the entry you are looking for.

Search for keywords online

The typing bar of Notes can also work as an online searching engine. Thus, if you type in the words and hit Enter, the program prompts a webpage in the default browser, of a keyword search with the default online engine. Notes runs in the background, with the option of maintaining the search bar on the desktop.
