NoteSync with Google Docs Description
With the rise of Internet services mainly focusing on text, such as blogs, or social networks, text editors can now be used directly in the web browser. Google Docs is quite a popular service, and with the help of NoteSync with Google Docs you can work offline on different text documents, and later on sync them to your account.
Visually appealing and easy to use
Note that the application requires several things in order to function as intended. One of them is Adobe AIR, which is both used to install, and run the application. An active Internet connection is not mandatory, but you do need to keep it on when synchronizing. Moreover, you need to punch in your Google account credentials for synchronization to work.
In terms of visuals, the application wraps all of its features in a pleasant interface which poses no accommodation problems whatsoever. Half of the space is used as a document browser, while the other represents the edit area. You can adjust the delimited by dragging it around, which is the same method you can use to set the main window size.
No file support, or font customization
Adding a new note requires little effort. A blank one is added to the list at the press of a button, with the edit pad freeing up so you can add title and content. The same methods of editing are used whether or not you’re connected to your Google account. With the connection established, a press of a button sends all your notes to Google Docs. Sadly, synchronization works only one way, with no possibility to browse online using this application.
Unfortunately, the application doesn't come with support for any font customization, so you only get to work with plain text. However, the settings panel does come with an option to set text size. Unlike using Google Docs from a browser, here you’re not able to import or export files of any kind.
A few last words
Bottom line is that text manipulation is still a common computer activity and with the help of NoteSync with Google Docs you can easily write anything offline, and upload all notes to your Google Docs account at the press of a button.
