NS Contacts Description
Depending on your domain of activity, you can get to work with a lot of people, and it can become a difficult task to remember related details. Sure enough, you can keep contacts stored on your phone, but there are also various computer applications like NS Contacts that provide a more comfortable environment, and more customization options.
Organized interface quickly gets you up and running
The application gets installed in a short while, letting you take advantage of its features in the nick of time. Before you go deploying it however, you need to make sure that the target PC is equipped with .NET Framework, because it was built on this platform and is required for proper functionality.
A compact main window shows up on launch, with a neat structure that lets anyone quickly get acquainted with the set of features. Various tabs let you fill in a large amount of related info. This organized manner makes it easier to use, not overwhelming you with too many details in a single panel.
Make sure to manually save changes
All contacts are saved in a custom file, and is one of the first thing you need to do. You’re asked to provide a save location for the new database file, after which you’re free to add as many contacts as you need. Writing down values in corresponding fields is pretty intuitive, and categories let you handle summary, personal, home, work, Internet, notes, and misc, as well as an option to add a picture.
However, you need to remember to always press the save button after each change, because the application doesn’t automatically take care of this, and you risk losing data. What’s more, you only get to work with the application generated file format, with no possibility to export to other formats.
To end with
All in all, NS Contacts is a straightforward application that lets you keep a simple, organized database of your contacts. Various fields can be filled in to add all necessary details. The only downside is that there’s no possibility to get a view of all contacts at once with some related details, except for a drop-down menu that enlists all entries by name.
