NTFS Permissions Tools

NTFS Permissions Tools allows you to control the users’ permissions to the files and folders on your system. The application allows you to view the type of access allowed for each of the disks, the partitions and local folders. Moreover, you can change the users’ rights to access the folders with a simple mouse click.

Set access options for folders

NTFS Permissions Tools allows you to change the permissions for the main disks, as well as for all the stored folders and subfolders. It can list all the items a user can access on your computer, from volumes, folders and files. The program can display the location, the file system if available, the access rights of the current user and the owner of the folder.
A user may have full access, read-only rights or blocked access to the selected folder. You may also create an advanced set of permissions, that refer to local users, as well as the ones that login from remote locations.

Create detailed permission plans

NTFS Permissions Tools allows you to set advanced permission modes, by enabling or disabling several actions for the selected user or group of users. Thus, you can allow/block the full control, file execution, data reading, attributes reading, data writing, folder creation, item deletion or permission changing.
NTFS Permissions Tools allows you to change these options for the current user, for everyone who accesses the system, for administrators, trusted installers or for the SYSTEM processes. Moreover, you can limit these actions to all the files and folders or the current location.

Manage inherited options

NTFS Permissions Tools allows you to set an object’s permissions based on the configuration of their parent if such information is available. Similarly, you can replace all the child object permissions with inheritable options from the currently selected object. The subject of these permissions can be a local user, an administrator or even a remotely connected user.
