NuGen

Here you will find several sections regarding Winamp control. The stop-control lets you use a sophisticated stopwatch or perform actions like shutdown when the music stops.
The "Auto End Of File Check" lets you listen only to track endings (I needed to use that once on uncompleted downloads). The control section gives you some Winamp tweaks. Read the hints displayed for further information.

VIS Randomizer

This tab is a visualization plugin manager that lets you select visualization plugins from the ones that are installed and run them in a sequenced order. Use the presets via the combo-box for easy usage. The selected VIS plugins may be configured by  a right click or a configuration button. The sequence may change a VIS plugin by a timer and/or by
a change of track. When the Standby button is at a pressed state the VIS sequence
will start at the appropriate track change, so you may arm the sequence and then launch the tracks you wish. The Start-VIS button starts the sequence and starts
playing the current track.

History

This tab records the history of the played tracks. The selected track info is showed at the info box. The track context menu can be accessed by right clicking a track, from this menu you may play, open in explorer, delete a file or add a bookmark for it. The delete file button and the delete function in the context menu all go to the recycle bin with verification according to your  recycle bin configuration, so dont be afraid to use the delete
feature.

File Management

Here you can perform some actions on the playlist. You can move
all the files in the playlist to a different location which
is selected in the folder tree and is displayed as the target
directory. You may use the "To Clipboard" function to store
links to the playlist files in the clipboard and then paste
then onto a drag drop window like those in CD burning software.

Bookmarks

The bookmark manager lets you use an additional bookmark list to the one Winamp has with pretty much the same features that the History tab has.

The Tray Icon

The tray icon is a smart Winamp control that lets you play Winamp when its stopped or paused and pause it when it is playing.This is done by clicking it You may also find additional controls using the CTRL, SHIFT and ALT keys in conjunction with clicking the icon while playing. The right-click context menu may be used to show or hide the plugins  main window and control other features.

Configuration and Controls

Persistent controls that the plugin support are for the main interface visible state, the VIS Randomizer selections and the "Play Enqueued Files" state. These parameters are kept in a  configuration INI file.
There is no use of registry keys and thus the plugin may be copied or moved with its last configuration.
The History track list and the bookmarks are also kept in text files.
Tip - You may want to disable the "windows Animation" effect if you plan to use the VIS Randomizer. Some plugins minimize Winamp when they start and disabling this effect will provide a smoother transition form one plugin to another.System requirementsWinamp
