nVidia Vulcan Demo is an intuitive piece of software that allows you to get a demonstrative view of the rendering capabilities provided by GeForce FX 5900 graphics processing units. It allows you to test out and visually analyze each new feature of GeForce FX 5900 GPUs, all through a simulated game environment.
You can freely move the camera in order to observe any visual upgrade or new particle that your GPU can render. Thanks to the driver’s volumetric texturing and render-to-texture functions, you can experience realistic generated particles, such as fire, smoke and glow.
Besides, the GeForce FX 5900 GPU features advanced lighting and shadowing techniques, that seamlessly render each particle, even those that are hit by multiple light sources. By doing so, you are provided with realistic and accurate representations of objects and their shadows, even if they come in contact with a multitude of light sources.
nVidia Vulcan Demo lets you experience the capabilities of GeForce FX 5900, by observing the behavior of the skin shader algorithm, which uses true Blinn phong shader techniques, thus providing users with accurate rendered character and particle details.
In order to fully experience the visual upgrades and features provided by the GeForce FX 5900 GPU, the application allows you to change the rendered environment. You can easily switch from normal view, which displays colors and texture, to wireframe view, which helps you visualize the characteristics of each rendered model and how they are built.
nVidia Vulcan Demo provides you with a full-on view of the innovative GeForce FX 5900 GPU, by simulating a game environment, with richly colored models and high quality textures.
