ODBC Driver for FreshBooks Description
ODBC Driver for FreshBooks is a specialized software solution designed to make it possible for ODBC-based applications to access FreshBooks cloud databases.
The driver offers full support for standard ODBC API functions, as well as all FrashBooks data types, and the online documentation provides a complete listing of all the mappings.
Additionally, because the driver supports Advanced Connection String parameters, it is possible for desktop or web applications to connect to FreshBooks from multiple platforms and environments.
The software is capable of establishing connections to FreshBooks cloud databases via HTTP directly, but it is also possible to provide a Proxy server address if it is required to connect to the network.
ODBC Driver for FreshBooks allows you to use SQL statements and offers support for DML, which means you can modify data in FreshBooks just as in SQL databases.
Furthermore, the software enables you to configure and launch bulk updates by combining several SQL statements into batches. This feature can greatly speed up large data modifications.
It is also worth mentioning that the driver is compatible with numerous third-party data processing tools, including Microsoft Visual Studio, Python, PHP, QlikView and Crystal Reports.
Detailed documentation is available, explaining how the driver can be configured and put to use. Once installed, you can set up the connection parameters by accessing the ODBC Data Source Administrator and creating a new data source.
Next, you need to enter the URL or the FreshBooks server you wish to access, as well as provide the required authentication totem. Lastly, if you are using a Proxy server to connect to the network, you can specify its address and port number, along with the username and password.System requirements.NET Framework 4.5
