OEM Injector

OEM Injector is a tiny and portable application you can use to change the OEM information of Windows, including logo. It doesn't include complex options or configuration settings, making it accessible to all types of users.

Simple GUI for editing OEM details

When it comes to the interface, the utility opts for a small window with simple design and layout, giving you an overview of all settings available.
You can edit the manufacturer and model, as well as apply a personal photo from a local file with the .gif, .png, .jpg, .jpeg or .bmp extension. If the picture doesn't have the shape of a square, you can crop it from the left, center or right.

Create and restore backups

Before making any modifications, you should be interested in backing up the current OEM details to file, in order to easily restore them later if you change your mind.
All fields can be cleared with the click of a button after taking this step, while the new OEM data can be just as swiftly applied. Apart from the fact that you can switch to another GUI language, there are no other notable options.

No setup necessary

The entire program's packed in a single executable file that can be saved anywhere on the disk or copied to a removable storage unit to seamlessly run it on any computer with as little effort as possible and no previous setup. It doesn't need DLLs or other components to run, create files on the disk without asking for permission, or add new entries to the system registry. In order to uninstall it, you simply have to delete the .exe file.

Evaluation and conclusion

We haven't come across any issues in our tests, since the program remained stable throughout its runtime. It didn't cause the operating system to hang, crash or show error messages. On the other hand, OEM Injector hasn't received updates for a long time.
