Cutting options

Ogg File Cutter gives you the possibility to import a single OGG file, play or stop the current audio selection, go the start or end part of the current audio file, as well as set the markers used for cutting the song. In addition, you are allowed to save the cut file to OGG file format. You only need to specify the filename and saving directory.
The application is not a resource hog so you do not have to worry that it eats CPU and memory resources. However, it has not been updated for a long time so you may bump into compatibility issues on newer operating systems like Windows 8.
We have tested it on Windows 8.1 Pro and noticed that it is not able to import OGG files properly in the main window. We have also experienced some problems with the audio playback controls.

All in all, Ogg File Cutter comes packed with several handy options but it needs functionality improvements until it can be called a reliable OGG cutting application.
