One-Time Password Generator

One-Time Password Generator is a lightweight and Java-based application that can generate random and secure passwords based on a simple set of user-defined rules.
Installation is not required, which makes the tool portable. It means that you can drop the program files in any location on the hard disk and just click the JAR file to run.
There is also the possibility of saving One-Time Password Generator to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any PC with minimum effort and no previous installers.
What's more, the Windows registry does not get updated with new entries, and no extra files are created on the disk without your consent, leaving it clean after removal.
The interface is represented by a regular window with a plain and simple structure, where all you have to do is write a password, sequence and challenge, as well as select the hash type between MD5 and MD4. The password is generated with the click of a button and immediately shown on the bottom part of the panel.

One-Time Password Generator is very low-demanding when it comes to CPU and RAM, so it does not affect the overall performance of the PC. We have not come across any kind of issues throughout our evaluation, since the app did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs.
