Oolauncher Description
By default, Windows runs several services, and processes it depends on, as soon as you reach the desktop. Some programs also benefit from this options, but you may not want them to do so, or to add your own items. In this regard, Oolauncher comes with the means to help you decide what can, and cannot run on startup.
Can be used on the go
One of the main advantages is that you don’t even have to go through a setup process to make the application work. As such, you have the liberty of carrying it with you on a thumb drive to use on other PCs as well, without having to worry that its health status gets affected, because registries are not modified.
At launch, you’re asked whether or not to import the list of existing items, regardless of whether they already run on startup or not, so you have all options at your disposal to spot even those which can’t be visible through the Task Manager. Sadly, the list of items isn’t fitted with another column to quickly view status.
Set startup delay, and style options
The second section of the main window is fitted with all options you need to manage existing items, or add your own. There’s the possibility to add EXE, BAT, COM, and INK files by simply selecting through a browse dialog. Additional parameters can be added as well, and even the possibility to enable for multiple users.
That’s not all though, as the whole operation can be heavily tweaked. An abundant startup list can have an impact on startup time, so there’s a dedicated field to delay a program launch, or set priority with up to 6 different levels. Moreover, the window style can be set to normal, minimized, maximized, hidden, or unchanged, and whether or not to force a new style after a given amount of seconds.
To sum it up
Taking everything into consideration, we can say that Oolauncher is a practical application you can keep around, especially if you add, and remove different programs on a daily basis. It can detect all programs which attempt to run with Windows, letting you easily toggle state, add new options, with heavily configurable time, and style options.
