Optimizer Description
RAM or Random-Access Memory is one of the key components of your hardware configuration and is the resource that is used the most while your computer is up and running.
It happens quite often that you install some RAM hungry applications on your PC and they leave you with the entire system crawling in terms of performance or even crash it. This is why it’s important to have a means of restoring some RAM when you need it most.
Optimizer is a lightweight system tool especially created to help you free up RAM on your computer. It’s an application that is very easy to install and even easier to use.
After it is installed and run, Optimizer creates an icon in the system tray area from where you can access it and recover RAM. When you run it for the first time after starting your computer, it prompts you whether you want to optimize the RAM now or hide the application for later use.
Optimizer sits silent in the background and always ready to help you improve the performance of your computer. With a simple click of the tray icon it immediately start optimizing and once its done, it displays the amount that it successfully frees. The entire process takes a few seconds and depends on how much RAM is installed on your computer and how many applications are pulling from it.
Optimizer doesn’t offer you any kind of settings. It’s a one click application that simply does its job. You can’t schedule runs and you can’t tell it when to automatically recover RAM for you. This is a bit unpleasing but you can always click its icon whenever you feel that your PC is beginning to slow down.
In closing, Optimizer is a nice little tool that you can certainly use to boost up the performance of your computer from time to time.
