OttercodeS Soundboard Description
The OttercodeS Soundboard is designed to provide a way to organize both .mp3 and .wav files for playback during a podcast recording session. This program is designed to run on the Windows platform using either an x86 or x64 processor. When the program is run for the first time, the user must accept the EULA (End User License Agreement) before access is allowed to Run the main program. Once the EULA is accepted, access is permitted to the "Create Desktop Shortcut" check box and to the "Run Program" button. If you do not create a shortcut from the EULA form, you will be able to do that later from the Tools-Options menu. Sixteen (16) drop-down lists with associated play buttons are available on the main program window. The Drag-and-Drop method is used to add one or more selected files from a folder or an entire folders contents. The first group of twelve (12) buttons are not labeled. The last four (4) buttons are pre-labeled with common designations. All button labels can be changed. Once a file is selected in a drop down list, the related play button will play the sound file in the Player. The Player output is directed to the default sound path for the users PC. The Player has basic control of the file being played. Selecting another sound file to play will stop the currently playing file. More than one file playing at the same time is not supported.
