The file list displays the title, length and size of each item. If you prefer to leave the default settings unaltered, then you can directly start the conversion operation after specifying the output profile and directory.
In addition, you can preview clips in a small, built-in media player, select the video resolution and quality, split clips by chapters or time segments, and check out logging details.
The video conversion utility requires a moderate amount of CPU and system memory, has a fair response time and includes user documentation. However, PackPal DVD to iPod Converter was unsuccessful in several attempts to convert DVD movies during our evaluation.
There is a 'Settings' option available through the context menu, but clicking it didn't bring up any window. So, you cannot modify audio and video properties (e.g. frame rate, bit rate, sample rate) or specify the thread priority.
