Pam Audio/Video Player Description
As its title suggests, Pam Audio/Video Player is a very small application which allows you to play files of audio and video formats.
The interface of the application is based on a very small window in which you can press the eject button to import media and create playlists (the "drag and drop" method is not supported).
Once you have created a playlist, you can view the track number, name, length, ID3 artist name and other information about the files.
Furthermore, you can import directories and include their subfolders as well, save the playlist (in the PLS, M3U, HTML or TXT format), refresh the list and remove items.
Evidently, you can use basic media player functions, such as pause and stop, switch to full screen mode, change aspect ratio, adjust the balance and navigate back and forth within the track.
But you can also enable shuffling mode, edit ID3 tags, schedule a computer shutdown, configure encoder settings (e.g. quality, bit rate, sample frequency rate, presets), batch rename files, and others.
The program uses a moderate-to-high amount of system resources and has a pretty good response time. There is no help file available. Also, Pam Audio/Video Player failed to recognize some of our files in the AVI and WAV format.
But the biggest problem of the tool is its tiny interface which doesn't even allow you to accurately jump to a particular frame in the clip. We suggest you look for something more advanced than Pam Audio/Video Player.
