PDF Layout is a lightweight software application whose purpose is to help you alter PDF files in terms of page layout and mode, as well as set up document properties.

Clean feature skeleton

You are welcomed by a straightforward layout that integrates all configuration parameters in the main window. A help manual is not included in the package. However, the features look easy to work with so you are not going to spend a lot of time decoding them.
The program gives you the possibility to import PDF items in the working environment using the built-in browse button (the drag-and-drop support is not implemented).

In addition, you can check out details about the file size, total number of pages, paper size, date when it was last modified, and encryption settings.
What’s more, you are allowed to change the page layout (single page, one column, two columns left, two columns right), set the page mode (normal, thumb, full screen, or outline), hide the toolbar and menu bar, center the windows, and display the document’s title. The edited PDF can be exported to a custom location on your computer.
PDF Layout does not offer support for batch actions so you can process only a single item. Tests have shown that the application carries out a task quickly and without errors. It does not eat up a lot of CPU and memory resources so the overall performance of the computer is not hampered.
