PDF Renderer SDK Description
PDF Renderer SDK is a development kit that can help users implement PDF conversion capabilities into their .NET, ASP.NET and VB6 applications without the need of Adobe Reader or any other specialized PDF reader.
It can convert PDF to a broad range of formats, including BMP, EMF, TIFF, multi-page TIFF and PNG images. Different fonts can be rendered, regardless of their styling. The target applications will be able to render images and vector graphics as well.
The original layout is preserved. Also, users can opt to render only a particular area of their PDFs. Printing can be done directly from the host app.
Installing PDF Renderer SDK on the target computer can be done by using the setup kit, which deploys two components that users can interact with: a dashboard utility and a "PDF Multitool."
The dashboard enables users to view various samples in the left part of the screen that are available for multiple platforms, such as C# or VB.NET. Samples let users test making thumbnails or converting PDFs to several output formats. The code snippet can be accessed in the central part of the window and samples can be executed by clicking the "Run Sample" button.
The "PDF Multitool" mentioned earlier showcases the capabilities of this SDK and lets users interact with any of the displayed functions with ease. Selecting any of the functions will display a dialog window where users can adjust some parameters, depending of the action type they wanted to test.
