PDF2Text Pilot

PDF2Text Pilot is an easy-to-use file converter that only allows you to convert pdf files into text documents, fetch all sort of information from inside files or change the location of converted files.
It comes with some tools and features, but it could definitely use more, like the option to pick the format of converted files and to adjust more settings.

Lightweight interface with lots of tools

PDF2Text Pilot is easy to install and it doesn't come with a complicated setup to complete. The graphical interface is truly easy-to-use, with all features at hand. The first thing that you need to do is to browse your computer and add a PDF document.
Fortunately, PDF2Text Pilot allows you to convert multiple files at once, but you can't add them to the list with the usual drag and drop action.

Convert multiple files and folders

It comes with the option of adding multiple pdf files for conversion or adding a whole folder filled with files. Click on a file to move it up or down the list, the converter allows you to add how many files you want and to remove the ones that you don't want to be changed.
The next step is to browse your system and pick the destination folder, so that the application would save files in the same location.

Some tools and options

The converter comes with the option of fetching all sort of information from your documents, like the author, the subject, title and keywords. They're all displayed at the top of the document so you can view them easily.
A feature allows you to convert all pdf files in the list, into one text document, the application merges information in one text file. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with the option of converting text files into pdf or to change the format of the resulted files and pick .doc or .docx.
All in all, PDF2Text Pilot is a fast converter with lots of useful tools but it would need some more features.
