While some text editors come with the ability to save the files to PDF format, most don’t have this feature and you need additional tools to perform the conversion. PDFcamp Pro is a nice program that acts as a virtual printer and enables users to save various document files to the aforementioned format.
The app has a simple interface and a clean layout, making it extremely easy to figure out.
As mentioned, the app converts any type of printable Windows document to PDF. Among the supported formats you can find DOC, XLS, PPT, TXT and HTML, to name just a few.
Since the program acts as a virtual printer, all that needs to be done is clicking the designated printing button or the key combination (Ctrl + P) and select PDFcamp Printer from the list. Depending on the program you’re using, you may also be required to specify how many of the pages you want to convert and their orientation (portrait or landscape).
While converting files to PDF is the main purpose of this tool, there are also several other output formats available, such as PS, EPS, JPG, TIFF, BMP, PCX and PNG.
All in all, PDFcamp Pro is a great utility that works well and fast. Less experienced individuals should find it easy to handle, thanks to the intuitive layout and its overall simplicity.
