PDFdu Free Text to PDF Converter allows you to add files or folders by using the file browser or you can simply drag and drop the documents into the main window. You can also choose an output destination for the PDF files and the app automatically displays the output folder after it finishes the conversion.
You can select the page size (vertical, horizontal or custom size) and font settings (font, style, size and color), add page numbers and set the page orientation.
It is also possible to add text watermark that can be customized in terms of opacity, color, angle and font size. However, you cannot add image watermarks and stamps to your documents, nor sign them.
The app provides you with an encryption feature which allows you to protect your documents with a password (owner and user password) and to set up file permissions for printing or copying, modifying contents or annotations, filling in, and allowing screen readers and degraded printing.
The app froze on us several times when we attempted to access the configuration panel. However, as weird as it may sound, refreshing the Windows desktop seems to restore its functionality immediately.
At the moment of writing, you cannot delete the files from the list and in order to remove them you need to restart the app.
